MCC Volunteers are having a great time at the fair this week. We are sitting under a great oak tree joining members of the MCW wood turners and the staff of The Woodworkers Club under a big white tent.

The smell and sounds from the blacksmith’s forge float across to us along with the typical smells of the fair resurrecting many nostalgic memories of days gone by for many of us.

We are generating a lot of interest with us spending most of our time engaging the public and minimal carving actually taking place, which is a good thing and our intent. We are passing out MCC business cards that points interested fair-goers to our new website and may generate a few new members.
